Getting to the Retreat in Ubud, Bali

We recommend that you arrive around 1 week before the start of the journey so you can accustom yourself to the immersive environment of Bali, also known as “The Island of Gods”. Please read the guide below on how to get here:

Getting to Bali, Indonesia:

Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS): This is the main airport in Bali, located in the southern part of the island, approximately 40 kilometers (24 miles) from Ubud.

Many international airlines operate direct flights to Bali from major cities around the world. We recommend travel websites like Momondo or Skyscanner to find the best flights available for you. Thai Airways and Emirates are some of the best alternatives out there to date.

Taxis are available at the airport. It's recommended to download and use Grab or Gojek (Indonesias Uber) to avoid scams. The journey to Ubud takes about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic and costs around 300 000 - 500 000 IDR.
